I've had a galexea for the past few months. Every night he extends out and searches for food. This has been his normal nightly activity as soon as the lights go out. The past few nights i've noticed that when I turn the lights out instead of it extending out it has actually done the oposite. All the heads close up. My galaxea have about 25-30 heads and thier all closed right now. Has anyone experienced this with thier galaxea. Just trying to make sure he is OK. I can find anything regarding this on the NET.

Is it opening up normally during the day?
If so, and the only change is it not extending it's feeding / sweeper tentacles at night, I wouldn't be alarmed.

it opens fine during the day. It's sweepers come out and have ive spot fed him atric pods. He doing well. He just started closing up at night. He is on the bottom of my tank where he has been for a while. He had good water flow and opens every morning and waves around. he sends out about 5 sweepers at a time. Kinda neat to watch.
