Ok, heres how it goes I have a rubber lip pleco with Ick and I have treated it on the rest of the fish but! I cannot to seem to get it to stop on the pleco any ideas on how I can rid the pleco of it?

How long have you been treating the tank? You will need to treat up to a week AFTER you see the LAST white spot come off the LAST fish in the tank - you can only kill the parasite in it's free swimming stage after it drops off the fish.
Using heat, salt and daily water changes with gravel vacs (and a medication for ich if you choose to add that) for a few weeks will help get rid of the most stubborn case of ich. It just takes time and a lot of patience.

Post your waterparameters and detailed description of how you are treating.

Generally I treat for ich with raised temp (86 deg F ), Formalin and Malachite green on days 1 , 3 , 6 and 10 - do 25-50% waterchanges just before the meds , don't feed and a large waterchange after the last med along with carbon filtration.

If you don't succeed it could be one of the following problems:
- too cold
- it may be velvet and not ick, if this is the case you want to treat the same way in addition to keeping the tank totally dark(covered) and treat for one whole month.
- worst case scenario is that it is a resistent strain of ick.
