problems feeding cory cats

ok so every night i feed my three panda corycats, i feed them the hikarie sinking waffer for corycats, i break it up so i get more out of it, the problem is the other fish in the tank smell it and eat it, and when the cory cats try to eat it, the other fish push them away, so now im breaking up two waffers and spreading it out through out the tank, it works kinda but what shoud i do, i have heard that flaks work better, what do you think

Try placing the food in the cories hiding places and scattering the food about the tank as much as possible. Pellets may be a better option to spread it about more.

Do you feed with the lights off or on? Sometimes feeding with the lights out can help slower bottom dwellers get theie fair share.

Perhaps if you had a larger group they would have more confidence to come out and getr their foods despite the other fish fighting them for it.

Remember always to give a varied diet of meeaty foods, flakes/pellets and veg.

well i feed with the light off, and ocaonly i feed them brine shrimp and blood worms and oh ya wax worms some times

Same here.

I find that mine don't really care for the sinking wafers, only eat those when they've eaten everything else. I feed the sinking wafers to my cherry barbs.

Get some shrimp pellets, they are small enough for them to grab one for themselves. Or try some of the HBH Super Soft foods...those go over really well for mine.

Increasing the numbers will do a world of good as well, so get yourself 3 or 4 more Pandas.

My pandas eat anything I give them.

mine eat everything, both my peppereds and pandas, i feed them at the same time as the other fish, they eat both the flakes that the others dont get to and wafers, they seem shy, but when it comes to feeding time, there is no messing with them.
