    Tetra HT-30 Heater
    4 stars

    Model: HT-30, 100 watts
    Have used for: 3 months
    Warranty: 2 years
    Made in : China
    Price: $20. in-store

Pros: Completely submersible, small, easy to hide 6" size, can be mounted vertically or horizontally below water change level, red "on" led, rubber bumper, decent warranty, widely sold.

Cons: Non-adjustible 78* heat setting. Must remember not to expose during large water changes, but mounting it in the bottom half, even vertically, should eliminate that worry.

Other comments: A fish emergency found me at the big store that starts with a W and stays open late. Thinking I'd replace it asap, I was actually pleased with the smaller size and features, and it's kept my 20 gallon tank at a steady 78* - 79* with no problems whatsoever. If it craps out within 2 years I'll write another review, but for now it's staying put.
