Hey guys, so here's the 75G as of now. I Have never cycled a tank before, and im not sure if its cycled yet, or really how to get it going.

There are 60lbs ecocomplete and some flourite with a cascade 1000 filter and a 79Watt light, i want to get more but i also dont want to use alot of electricity.

I sterted with 7 rummtnose tetras, and they are great so a few days ago i added 3 more to get 10, also have a pair of survivor guppies and 1 cherry shrimp from a recent calamity in my 5G. They are all doing great besides the male guppy.

Tewmp is about 79-80, Ph is a darkblue but not too dark, id say about 7.5-8 (i lost my color card). Ammonia 0, Nitrate 0, Nitrite 0.

I have done 2 Wcs of about 10 gallons since ive added fish.

As for decor im waiting for some cash to buy a bunch more vallisenera and some swrods, stuff like that, also waiting for my other drift wood to sink. I have some lloydea and hornwort florating aroudn in there too, I think my spray bar might be creating too much current, it keeps pushing the floating plants all over the place, what is a good amount of current? My filter has adjustable flow rates and i have the bar pointing directly down right now.
In the future I will transfer my angels into this tank, as well as a smaller pleco and maybe a pair of GBRs, and try to make it into an amazon blackwater creek ecotype as best as i can.

Thanks, i plan on adding mnore plants and some bigger driftwood. What do you thik of the stocking on this? I will have 6 angelfish, 10 rummynose tetras, a pleco and maybe some GBRs. Is it cycled? Does eco complete make it an established aquarium? These 10 fish have been in there for over a week and i havent seen any ammonia at all

Can a MOD move this thread to general freshwater so maybe i can get some answers to my questions?

nice

A nice start. I would start a thread in the other forum and save this for pic updates. Eco complete doesn't cycle your tank. You have a light bio-load in a large tank....it will be awhile before you see the ammonia.

looks good cant keep up with those rummy nose hehe fast lil devils
