Project Great Wall o' Tanks

Got another tank moved yesterday. The 40 gal brackish is now a 75gal, and I'm liking it a lot better. I got rid of the RFUG, and for substrate I'm using mostly sand with some CC mixed in. The tank is looking a little barren right now, but I'm going for a tidal/estuarine look. I am going to try and some some round fenceposts or something to simulate some pilings or a dock end to provide some more cover and structure in the tank, I think it will end up pretty nice.

The Emperor 400 is ince but its such a pain to get primed, since the water level is so low. Eventually I think I'll end up switching to a canister like an XP3, and move the emperor onto my 30gal. Anyway, picture updates.

Just for reference, this is what the tank looked like before, when it was the 40gal.

wow! i really like the updated pics! I can't wait to see it when you figure out the pilon/structure aspect. It looks much more "crisp" now and I like the contrast between this tank and your planted tank on the wall. The opposition of the two gives a very dynamic impression.

thanks...yeah the light that came with the setup is meant for SW, its a normal output T5, i think 12000K, so the light is much whiter than it was before...I'm amazed at how different the fish look. When its finished, its going to be interesting because almost all the tanks have different light spectrums and intensities so it will be a pretty interesting visual.

Very nice!

if only i had the room and the money to do something like that, as well as convince the wife to let me. the wall is awsome it is beyond words can't wait for more updates.

you've inspired me... now i just need to find the tanks...i'm on a mission.. craigslist will be my leader... i'm gonna try and make it just like this..good stuff
keep us up-to-date

Over the weekend, finally got some friends together to move the empty 150 into the upper left spot, so thats finally in place. I'll probably move the fish over next weekend, I have to get new gravel first. Also got the 30gal into the bottom right spot next to the sump, and one 10gal QT tank into place as well. Have all the plumbing for the sump, so I'll probably start cobbling that together this week. I shall take some new pics when I get home and post them up tonight...its actually starting to look like a "wall". :D
