I just can't help but think that the blue foam carved the way it is looks like an iceburg :p:

Looking good! I cant wait to see the final product. Is the water flowing good enough from the top tank to the bottom one with the pvc like that? I suppose even if you cut it shorter the water would just fall until the top of the waterline for the bottom tank anyway.

Yes its flowing nicely. I just shoved the pipe in to cut down on the splash is all. PITA is correct that is what I was saying. As amny man hours as I invested into cleaning off the old silicone it would have been more cost effective for me to buy another tank. I learned a lot though so it was worth it.
 
i would suggest river rocks for these tanks. when i think of waterfall i think of river rocks. make sure when you're stocking you get fish that like flow but also wont jump.
