shows both leaf types. "difformis" means "two forms".

Here's my first post. Nice to meet u all. wisteria is an amazing plant. It can grow under different lighting and depends on the lighting the shape of the leaves varies and also the size. Propagation is the most easiest part. You can cut between the node, trim the leaves of lower node and plant the lower node into the substrate. And also broken leaves develop roots and become a plant itself.

What's it's light requirement folks?

i grow mine in 15 gallons tank with 65 watts of t8 lighting. I think you can grow this plant around 1.5wpg or even lower. With higher lighting u have to prepare yourself for weekly trimming.

I have mine in my shrimp tanks, in low light, just floating on the surface, and they are producing roots all over. Also lots of new growth.
I might try some planted into the substrate.
Thanks all. Cheers iceman.

Yeah, mine have 2.9 wpg but it is an awesome plant to add to combat algae because of its fast growth rate it consumes a lot of nutrients that other slower growing plants would let the algae thrive on. Once I added some of this stuff I hardly see algae in my tank anymore.
