I'm using an Aqua Remora on my 75G tank. The collection cup is all the way down - the higher I go the less gunk collects in the cup. My problem is the skimmer returns millions of it's tiny bubbles into my tank. Anybody have any solutions or explanations for this? I posted the same question in the Newbie forum but didn't get any responses - thought I'd ask the DIY experts.

I tried putting a folded filter pad on top of the return area, and it helped some...not enough tho....

I have the prefilter box that they sell for it. Works very well in cutting down the micro-bubbles. If you still have some bubbles using only the sponge (that comes with the box) in the water return section, you can add some more filter material on top of the sponge and it should eliminate the bubbles.
FYI - I drilled a few holes in the back of the box and attached suction cups to it for securing it to the tank. Works a lot easier than securing it to the pump with the screws that come with the box.
