Protein Skimmer Recommendations:
I recently bought a 125 gal tank with everything needed, at lest that’s what the LFS told me, well at lest nothing will go to waste. I’m using the two canister filters to circulate the water and there doing a good job. I will need a good skimmer, pump, head, and anything else I didn’t know about. I’m going to be adding some live rock and clowns as soon as it turns over. Also I mite need to invest in some real lighting. The good stuff, I’m too far into this now to start being cheep. :thud:

Have you got a sump. or will it have to hang on the tank? I have been very happy with my Euro-Reef skimmer, for an in-sump model. They can be pricey, but you can often get blemished ones cheaper on ebay. Your best option for an HOB skimmer would probably be an AquaC Remora Pro.

One more question the wife wants bubbles. So I put in an air stone I know it’s not necessary but will it harm any thing, the tank will have live rock

It won't harm anything, but the splash will cause salt buildup (aka salt creep). As long as the crystals don't fall back into the tank and land on any corals, it's just a small nuisance that can be wiped away every so often.

Sump. dont have room for HOB becouse of the cover.
:o I misstated my self I don’t have a built-in sump and I don’t have room to hang one on the back, to close to the wall. Is there a sump assembly I can insert in the tank, or a skimmer attachment for the intake to hang over the lip and the unit remaining under the cabinet?
