I did one of the fixes in that link with both of my PIA Coralife skimmers (because they were shooting out the bubbles into the tank and I don't like the look) and it helped tremendously.

2 days in and my skimmer is starting to produce a foam now. bubbles are still everywhere though.
how long have you had your skimmers? yours were still shooting micro bubbles out?!?! oh man, i hate the bubbles. I thought mine would stop soon!
Well the one I've only had maybe 4 months. The other I've had since I set up the FOWLR. I'm trying to say that certain Coralife skimmers are notorious for doing this, and on a permanent basis. If you do a Google search you'll find a lot of hits with people having the same problems. That's why there are sites, like the one I gave, with fixes to try...or you can buy a different brand skimmer.
3 days later and my skimmer is working perfectly. no microbubbles. I just had to wait.
