I recently purchased a JEBO OSYSSEA PS75 PROTEIN SKIMMER W/ PUMP New and of course it didn't come with instructions. I put it together based on the picture on the box, but I have no clue how to use it. Can anyone give me instructions on how to use it, it's a hang on model?

i dont have the jebo per say, but they are all pretty much the same. plug it in. adjust the knob so the bubbles go as low as you can get them. it takes a few days for a new skimmer to break in. once you start seeing some foam and not jsut bubbles popping, adjust the level of water so it comes up so it is anywere form 1-3 inches away from the surface depending on how wet you want the skimate. then adjust it every once in a while to make sure it is at the right spot.

do you need a protein skimmer for a smaller marine aquarium ie 3 foot?
It holds around 80 litres
IMO, unless you have a tank smaller than 20 gallons.... yes.... well, i supose it depends what you are keeping and your fish load. but for a reef, yes.... and if you want a good amount of fish, it is a very good thing
