Protien skimmers review

Wet web media has apparently started a new web magazine, The Conscientious Aquarist, and the first issue contains an editorial discussing many of the skimmers available. I thought people might want to read and comment. I don't remember seeing it on here earlier.

Anybody else think "Wet Web Media" needs to hire someone to organize the information??
There are tons of good info there- if you can find it.

Yeah, I agree. Bob's writeups are pretty good, but the "faq" sections are basically a worthless mess.

Edit: Sorry for continuing the hijack, but it's one of my peeves as well. :emb:

I think the messiness might be part of why they are doing the magazine. For instance, the dartfish article clears up a whole lot about firefish in one spot, rather than reading through dozens of individual emails.

I sympathise with both sides. Yes it's hard to find stuff ,especially if you're unfamiliar with the format. But as somebody involved with writing and supporting data organisation software and databases I can safely say that reorging it will be a nightmare, cripplingly expensive and possibly not that useful/beneficial. I've seen a bunch of posts to Bob suggesting do this, and do that, relational databases blah, blah ,blah, but similar jobs I've seen for that volume have cost 10's of thousands of dollars and up. It's not easy, especially as you have to end up with an end organisation format that's actually so much better.
