hi can you tell me how a red sea prism skimmer works as mine dosent seem to work right not collecting any crap

If you like a light, tea-colored water in the collection cup then the Prizm is for you. You can do what I did and look online and find a Coralife Super Skimmer for about $80. I have one of these skimmers and in less than 12 hours it pulled out a thick, coffee-like substance. I could not be happier...especially since these skimmers are low in price.
