Puffer bit by other puffer

I bought a 5 gallon bucket at Lowes. Mix the salt and water in there (don't forget conditioner) add a powerhead and let it run for at least a day. When the mix is no longer cloudy and there is no sediment on the bottom, test the salinity.

Use that salt water and mix it with regular treated water. Slowly add it to the tank and keep testing until it reaches 1.002. Two days later, remove some water and add more of the salt mixture. Keep this up until you get to your target salinity.

When you do water changes, mix the water with the salt water in a bucket with a heater until it's the same salinity and temperature as the tank and pour it in.

It'll be worrisome and difficult at first, but you'll get the hang of it.

And you're welcome ;)

You can get them at your Local Fish Store(LFS), just used to push water around and can be used as small filters if needed.

Puffers can be quite aggressive toward any tankmates. It's possible your little puffer may kill bumblebee gobies if you decide to add them to her tank.

OK. I wouldn't do it, but good luck.
