I would only try that with dwarf puffers, South American puffers & a few other smaller FW species. And only in a large tank (30-40g).

One possible to probable outcome: The DPs nip the Firemouths extended fins. It is their nature to "taste".
Another possible outcome: The Firemouth decides to harass or kill the DPs. Territoriality is their nature.
