are there any other puffers you can keep in freshwater besides the dwarf puffer? if so what species and what size of tank? i have a 29 gal. and a ten gal. but lokking to purchase another tank. c:

A fahaka puffer. Only ONE and nothing else in a 120gal. It will be your favorite fish guaranteed

another question

i heard that some people keep figure eight puffers in fresh water tanks. is this healthy for them or do they need brakish conditions to survive.

There are many FW puffers, but F-8s are BW.

From what I understand, in freshwater F-8s only live a few years, but in BW they can live well into their teens. I think it's obvious which environment suits them more.
