well...individual can differ from the species...Example: some people have timid, nice Red tail sharks... While others have AGGRESSIVE red tail sharks...it differs with individuals..HOWEVER...Most puffers will fin nip. I guess some people can cancel that behavior out by feeding the puffers live foods and kept well fed..
