puppy pic!

I hate to be the perennial stick in the mud, but when are you planning to get your guys spayed/neutered? The pups are very cute, yes, but I invite you to go to any animal shelter and find a pup that isnt cute. I do believe that you care deeply for your dogs, but if you arent breeding to show or performance standards (that you stated you arent selling this litter tells me you arent) they shouldnt be bred.
As an aside, have you thought about changing their diet to a raw diet? Its fabulous for all dogs, puppies included. A bit messier and time consuming in the beginning, but the benefits far outweigh the drawbacks.

ADORABLE!!! I love staffordshires and all the "bully" breeds. Their round faces just look so human-like :)

I'm right there with you!!! My beloved AmStaff had a stroke at an early age this summer, and I still break down and bawl over it!!! I can't believe you guys had 12, judge!!!! They're all so beautiful. Tempted to take a road trip, but I swore off puppies!!! I adopted another older dog, she's a brindle, and turning out to be almost as wonderful as Tuffgirl (it's not fair to compare them!!) All my "kids" are rescues and neutered, and are the sweetest and smartest canines I've ever known. Bully breeds forever!!

Daaaaaaaaamn Cute puppys!!

Very very veeeeeeeeeery cute pittie babies. What does mama look like? I recognize dad's markings...they remind me of a awsome dog i know/love who came from a reputable kennel in Virginia...Where are you from & how much are you selling htem for?

http://rennicdogg.spaces.msn.com we are rottie & pitti advocates/lovers!!
I will have pictures of "Molly" up soon.

I find the fact that you feel its your bussiness to inquire about when my dogs are to get fixed, and also that you feel the need to tell me that my dogs shouldn't be breed, appauling. It's nice that you show concern, and I thank you, but,I can assure you, I work with rehoming services for bully breeds, I also do school demonstrations with my dogs,I have my dogs registered, AND can very well sell them. I have also recently started with agility. I don't feed my dogs raw diet for financial reasons, I am a stay at home mom, with a son with a disability. I do agree that there are some health benefits, but my dogs eat a very healthy diet. Thank you again for your concern-julie

Great web-site,Our male is from a breeder in southern Pa, so its very possible, that they are from the same genetics somewhere, he was a re-home,from an owner that didn't know what they were getting into! he came to me very young, and mamma was the same way! Fortunatly, for me, I got two wonderfull and loving dogs! If you check out the link to fightingbreeds.com in the photo gallery there is better pics of mom and dad, I would also love to see the pics you have! as stated prior, I am not selling the litter, as long as the owners are not on a registry anywhere, and are what we consider to be a excellent home, they are free, save for the cost of shots, and altering, and obedience classes. For the families that can't afford our requirements, I have arranged some help, through some of my connections with rehoming, our paws group, and obedience classes.

rosita, I can not believe it either, Even the vet was amazed! Its crazy, the vet told us we should cull the litter to give them all a fair shot! huh, I worried and worried about the puppies not gaining, but they all did, she fed them in shifts..lol I bet shes happy that they are about weened, very rarley will she let one have a "sip" but, after weighing them 3 times a day. every one is happy and chunky! lol, The vet is still amazed! My vet actually wants one! she adores our dogs and fawns over them so much, I would love one of them to be homed with her! But she has two dogs already and is still undecided! ..lol I love your girl, she is very cute, your caption kills me, full figured ...rof..lol

appalling (sp)

Well thanks for your candor.
As one who also has worked in the rehoming sector, dont you feel that there are already plenty of animals around for those who want them? And Im sure you can sell them, that has been proven already. But that wasnt my point and Im betting that you knew that.
I am a SAHM mom too and manage to feed one dog on raw very frugally, I can give you some tips if you are interested. But I know with that size pack it would be very different.
I know I tend to go off a bit on topics I am passionate about and I do love it when people speak their minds back to me... Its the argumentative streak in me. I dont want to get your thread shut down but I wouldnt mind continuing this discussion in a non-judgemental, open way. Feel free to ignore me though, if its not something youre wanting to do.

I don't see the need to discuss it any further Zoo.....looks to me like Judge knows exactly what she's doing...and is one of the caring and responsible breeders that are out there. You both have a difference of opinion on the issue and I think it should be left at that.

Personally, I see no need to feed my dog raw meat...he gets plenty enough of our table scraps..thanks to hubby

Please don't try to indoctrinate anyone here Zoo...I think we can all respect and appreciate your view on the issue...hope you can also appreciate and respect others.

Just me expressing "openly" my opinion on the matter Zoo, no offense intended ;)

BTW Judge......ADORABLE little family you have there !! I'm not a big fan of pits, just not my type of dog..(we have a decker rat terrier).......but those little guys/gals are precious !
I do have a friend who's son owns a rather large pit/lab mix....he's absolutely beautiful...black and white (I have a thing for black and white animals...lol)....but, his tail was never docked and he causes painful bruises if you get in it's way.....lol. I know some folks think docking is cruel and unneccasary...but they've probably never been in close proximity to a very large friendly dog with an overactive tail/bull whip !! "OUCH"

Nice looking pups, Judge! I'm sure you will find good homes for them. They are much too young to spay/neuter before you send them to their new homes anyway. The little guy in the red bucket is adorable, but I'm sure they all are!!
We had a litter of 9 and we thought that was a lot of work, 12 is even more, wow! We devoted a big chunk of the basement to a puppy playground. Had a dandy time trying to keep them cleaned, fed and the basement cleaned up. It took all 4 of us plus as many neighbor kids that wanted to come and help.

We just had the one litter..found homes for all of them and both my dogs are spayed/neutered now. There are advantages/disadvantages to raw diet, and all kinds of diet. Feed your dog the best you can. For your dog to have had so many healthy looking pups you must be doing something right. Ours was such a prima donna. I was cooking for her while she was preggo and nursing, and my family swore she ate better than them.

Emg, I have to laugh..lol I know about those tails! We thought about allowing the tails, but felt that it leaves to many options for some to be irresposible, because some people might not take them to a vet to get them done, and some people may use that as a base to argue about cropping ears, so wediced against it all. I have bruises on my shins right now!..and as long as you love your dog,and it doesn't eat my shoes! :dog: any breed is good with me!

Nursie, we have turned the kitchen into puppy "quarunteen" and the neighborhood kids come for bath day ! and play hours...and to visit and to walk, I am begining to feel like this is the neighborhood hang out! lol, I appreciate the help though, they are def, a handfull, the male is scheduled for de- day! lol, the female as soon as shes done! ..lol this will be the last litter here atleast from these two, and atleast for another ten years!

ZOO, thank you for correcting my spelling, I don't mind a good debate either, but this is not the place. If you would like to continue this, you can become a member at fightingbreeds.com, and debate this, it is a free website, and there are alot of dog lovers there, I belong under the same screen name there as well. julie
