Purple Algae?

I first had.. nasty brown algae... green algaes.. DARK DARK green almost Black algaes... hairy algaes..... now im starting to get Purple ... yes purple color algae all over my live rock.. even on the sand.... Is this the coraline Algae that I want?.... im having a hard time believing that.. or is it just another form of bad algae that i dont want.

is the algae like stone or like hair algae. If it is coraline then it will be hard and look quite smooth.

Texture? Coralline algae is stony, so if you scrape it with a fingernail, it won't come off. Other algaes are mostly soft, and will scrape off.
