Purple Crab

Livestock supply stores usually also have needles and syringes available. The most fantastic thing I've found so far for killing aptasia is a dental syringe. The tips don't clog as badly as the needles will and they last for months instead of a few dosings. (the needles will clog up and drive you batty). I ordered mine online from a livestock supply house, also, but you can probably get you dentist to sell you some ;).

hmmm.. I'll try to find some... Anyways, what do others say about the anemone???

so with the crab, I can't post pictures for a few days because I am getting a new memory card reader. Anyways, I have the crab in a cup but am afraid to put it back in the tank. I will try to describe it in detail so you guys could maybe identify it. First of all,the shell of the crab is about half of a dime. The shell is both black and also has some tan lines on it. Then, the legs, have some small tan/orange fur on them, and are also spotted black and tan. Also, the pincers are quite pointy. That's all I can say and thanks for your help.

well, now I got pictures of the crab, but they are very blurry. Please try and make out what it is please. The pictures are very blurry though....

vinegar will solve this problem.

sabae, id say its in the mynthrax family, like emerald crabs. some are a red color too.

wait for more feed back though before he goes scott free.

ide say mythrax, also i have a black one. hes in a FOWLR and just munches away on algae and fallen food......cute lil bugger, its always a treat when i see him since he hides alot.

i believe the 3 big uh-ohs on crabs are black tipped claw, fuzzieness, and red eyballs.

alright, I'll wait for others yeah just to see.
