purple waffle?

i just bought to of them on impulse from petland,they look amazing but i just read they will last a month under water.that sucks is there any way to have them half in half out or am i mislead

its a nonaquatic plant that will survive in bog conditions. Having bottom covered may still cause it to rot and foul up the water

lol putting them in a pot is the best way. no impulse buys

They will grow nice in a terrarium.
