Pushy Molly

Had a molly that was always nasty with his own kind i had to get rid of it eventually.

The molly has been not too bad the last few days. I've been adding some freeze dried daphnia to their diet which keeps the molly occupied at the top of the tank while the corys get their sinking food. The problem seems to be that the molly can't stand the fact that the corys are eating while it is not.

I'm also still thinking about setting up the 20g as a brackish tank though. The molly would probably be happier in it. I'll take a look and see if there is anything compatible in that area.

I had a 2 molys in my brackish tank. The female was a bully, the male, who was quite shy, eventually died. I think he was in part hastled to death. She also used to spook one of my F8 puffers (people tend to worry about puffer agression tward other fish, not the other way around-lol) She was also very fat cos she got most of the food that went into the tank. In general she was a bit of a pain. I liked her but I'm not sure I would get another moly now that she has eventually died.
