Put new plants in.

Well I just put 2 fake plants in which I got from a friend. Well, I am saying this because those plants were in a tank with Ich about 2 weeks ago. Well when I got them i put them in boiling water unbelievably hot and put them in soap also and rinces them out and put them in boiling hot water again. These should be fine now right.

I guess..that's cool that you got some more plants. I used to LOVE to go around to garage sales and pick aquariums and plants up! ..but most people charge WAY too much for it.!

A little dish washing soap but it doesn't matter I don't think/. I just want to know if there is still any chance of having that **** ich on the plants after putting it in boiling water twice.

it CAN matter, actually because soap is amazingly hard tio rinse off. better to avoid it when dealing with anything thatgoes into a fishtank.
i dunno if ICH survives boiling. ask yourself, How long can ICH survive without fish to live on?

Good luck getting that soap off. Dish washing soap will always leave a little bit behind. And its super toxic to fish. Its best to ditch them, and get new ones. Next time use 19 parts water to 1 part bleach.

I am pretty sure its fine about the soap. I am just worried about ich but i guess if Ich can die from 86 degrees i am sure its dead now then i guess. I mean the water i put it in can burn you. And it was out of the tank for about 2 weeks.
