Putting water from one cycling tank into another

It will help if you get filter media or gravel from an already cycled tank. My lfs was more than willing to help me out in this department when I was starting out. The water from your other tank wont help you, but the gravel and filter media should give you a head start. Good luck!

even if its cycling its never a good idea to take water from one tank and put it in another.
