Erythro, or peroxide will kill the algae in the short term but as long as tank conditions remain conducive to bga, it will return. Hagen plant gro is only a trace mix and does not contain adequate N or P. You should measure these and dose to the appropriate values. I find this is the most effective deterent to the growth of BGA in a planted tank.
