PVC CO2 Diffuser Question

PVC primer and cement is the right stuff from what I've read. Once it's dry, it shouldn't leech anything into the water. Again, that's not from experience; but it's what I've read and heard from several sources.

Just built one last week. My local hardware store had a combo PVC primer/cement in one can, eliminating the need for a double purchase (and an extra step) Flush it out for a while in fresh water before putting it to use. I don't believe the cured product will be harmful to the fish. Many of these already in use.

The "normal stuff" is the exact same that your plumber would use to plumb your kitchen sink, or water supply pipes. It is completely potable and completely safe.

The Primer comes 2 different ways, purple or clear.

Nothing is different between the two other than color.

Get the clear, the purple stains bad!
