I have a question about using PVC. I mainly want it for my ghost shrimp, so that they have a place to escape my cat. I was thinking of burying some straight pieces within the gravel and then using Ts and elbows to create connections with the rest of the tank.

Any ideas and would the shrimp even use such a location with it being so dark?

my amanos like a dark retreat once in a while- they use the caves- etc. I think they would like it.
