Pygmaeus wigglers

Great shots!

Terrific shots! Cute lil buggers aren't they!

I haven't seen them since the day I added them to the tank. But it is full of plants and rocks so I hope they are still in there somewhere!

Hi! Thanks for sharing your photos. I haven't taken any pictures because the tank water is murky. I think I feed them too much because I don't know what I'm doing! But, they are all surviving and have gotten quite big. They are a month old.

I wonder if they are big enough to put in the tank with their parents. It would make it easier through the holidays for the caretaker.
Anyone with suggestions?

Is there any other fish in there that would make a snack out of them? If not, they'll be fine with the parents. I would continue to give them fry food yet for a couple more weeks, either the First Bites or finely crushed flakes. In my cory fry tank, the younger ones still sift through the moss and the prefilter for food and the older ones are out front taking pellets. A couple more weeks will make a big difference in their size and they will loose some of the instinct to hide for survival.

No, the other fish are rasboras. My little fry don't hide. They swim up and down and all around. Very cute. Perhaps I can try to put a few in the parents' tank. I can't find the Little Bites anywhere. Where do I find them?

Usually any big box pet store has some. But you can just crush pellets and flakes to smitherines....that works!

Here is one of my first graduates. I had six that hatched and got to a decent size, I have at least three that are now free swimming and pretty much adult. The eggs laying has stopped so I have shut down the "cory creche", but now I think I know what to do to get more of them to hatch next time.
