I have a 2 1/2 gallon tank sitting on my desk at home that is planted well lit and ready to go. I know I want 1 or 2 Pygmy Corys and I saw another fish at my LFS. It was very tiny. I don't remember what it was called. I just remember the word "micro" in the name. They were 1'2 the size of neon tetras. They were the smallest fish I have ever seen. The tank said that they were fully grown. I was wondering if anybody had and idea what they were?

The pygmy cories really do best in a larger group--I wouldn't put them in anything less than a 10.

I tend to go agesnt that. I would say 5-6 gallons for 5 is enough because of there size.

I've got pygmy cories in my 55 gallon. I have about 7-8 of them and they seem to do all right. They feed actively like all the other fish and hang out in the weirdest places in the tank.
