pygmy cories with bettas? and plecos?

I have about 20 pygmy corys in my 46 BF community yank. I also have a group of 9 neons, and my pygmys are out all the time, schooling with the neons. The tank os moderately planted, with driftwood and caves. There are also 11 plecos in the tank, 3 x L104, 4 x L340 and 4 x red ancistrus. Never had an issue, and they've all been together for well over 2 years. Good luck.

i would not recomend pygmy cories with bettas i made this mistake of dumping mr. betta in their tank and with in i day he was hunting and harassing them and tore a few tails of them,. poor lil guys andthey were under lots of moss and he went in after them,.. just to hunt them,..

i have mine now in with otos and cpd, and they all school together but my poor ottos think they are in love with them, they think they are ottos,.. and they look alike and have same strip on their sides,...lol it comical,..

what does 'not too shy' mean though? seeing them once a week? seeing them once a month? or every day? I'd like to see them every day, even if it is only at feeding time. if the kuhli's will come out all of once or twice a week, I may just skip them.

would 5-6 kuhli's be okay with 3 (normal sized) cories in a 29, do you think?

Mine always come out as soon as food hits the water, I'll generally see atleast a couple of them out and bout at random times during the day. One of mine is zooming around back and forth at the front of my tank right now. At times when they are being inactive though you most likely wont see them around they'll be sitting under a decoration instead of out in the open like a cory would, but the more you have the more active they are.

5+ in a 29 would be good, 3 would be the minimum I'd go for with cories

I think I'm going to do 5-6 kuhlis, plus my bettas (have 6 now, want to get another 2 or 3), and 6 dithers (probably leopard danios, or maybe cherry barbs).

what would be good for algae? I was thinking either 2-3 ottos, or some kind of snail? not ABN plecos, I would assume?
