Pyjama and Emperor Cardinal.

Can anyone tell me if Cardinal fishes live together happily. I have just introduced a Pyjama Cardinal to my tank and my existing Emperor is bullying him. The staff at the aquatics shop asked me what fishes I had and happily sold me the Pyjama.

Welcome to Aquaria Central! You will find wealths of info here. By Emperor Cardinal do you mean Pterapogon kauderni (Bangaii Cardinal)? The Pajama Cardinal is generally pretty peaceful as is the Bangaii. What size tank is it? It sounds more like he is insuring he is dominant and it should all subside in ~ twenty four hours.
