The piece with the writing engraved on it should unscrew from the faucet. If it's been there a while you may have to use a pair of pliers to loosen it. Then you can screw in the plastic adaptor for the python to fit. Speaking from experience, it's better to buy the brass adapter/quick disconnect that python sells and use it vs. the plastic adapter since the threads on the plastic adapter becomes worn very quickly against the metal faucet. If you decide to stick with the plastic adapter, though, once it's worn just bring the part to your local plumbing store or HD/Lowes to get a replacement; and it'll be much cheaper than what python charges.
