Pyxie Palace

Tanx Lexi_D! :)

I was too impatient to wait... here's a couple of pics of the housewarming party. The party snacks (crickets) didn't last very long at all... these lil critters swallow first, then check to see if it's edible! lol

I was planning on keeping it in my home office with all my other tanks but the wife insisted on having it in the lounge with her tanks... guess I'll have to make another one!

Very nice!

Thx rbishop! :)

A couple more photos now that the internal powered filter i put in yesterday has cleaned up the cloudiness. Is it just me or has the grass/weed mix on the left grown about an inch?

The frogs have been busy re-arranging the plants and moss... quite fun to watch their antics! :)

That is so sad they are invading a once protected area! Kudos to you!

That is a beautiful set up you have there, makes me want to set one up..very tranquil!!

Very nice!

Thanks Lady G! :)

It's all about money - the council squandered, stole and nearly bankrupted the town through lack of management skills. Now they're rebuilding the bank balance by charging 40% extra for rates/taxes and selling off public land for below going rate!

Our little town used to win awards for being so neat, clean and tidy - now the central business district looks like a ghost town rubbish dump and the public bus service has been closed down... it's sad to see! :(

This is a cool tank you made and so nice of you to save those froggies....

Update...

Froggies happy and growing bigger by the day. They pretty much destroyed most of the the real plants by constantly uprooting and digging so we added a bit of plastic here and there...

They've progressed from a diet of crickets and mealworms to day old pinkies and the occasional feeder guppy...
