QT for GT

I am considering setting up a Quaranteen tank for my Green Terror. He is around 7" and all I have is a 10 gallon. Is this too small? Will he be more aggressive when he returns to the regular tank. Also the tank is not cycled if I moved substrate from a cycled tank to the QT would this help with the cycling?

That is too small for him, and to use the tank I would move filter material into a Q tank the day your going to move a fish in, or start fishless cycling ahead of time.
