qt tank emptying?

ok thats cool.i will try to do this.and some of yall may think im stupid or crazy for doing this but...i added 18 tetras of 3 types all grows to under 2 inches from my 29 gallon tank to my 10 gallon, BUT i added 2 more cycled filters 10 gallon filters from 2 other tanks.

well i wanted to make sure it will be able to handle all the fish i am gonna get tomorrow 16.

how will putting 18 fish in a 10 gallon tank for a day give you any clue if you can handle all the fish you are getting tomorrow.

because the amount of ammonia they produce will make the good bacteria come back faster than ever with the added filters and their good bacteria.i may not be as old as you but i do know how bacteria works.

then you know bacteria only needs hours to replicate/ grow...

I'm not sure how adding 18 fish into a 10 gallon from your 29 g will make things better.. since you already had more cycled filters you had from other tanks.

my point.. why stress your current stock when you could have done the same thing later with new stock???
