Queen Angelfish

Hello all, I know I've said this before, but this time i think its true, I'm getting a new tank soon, hopefully. Its gonna be a 220 gal. fowlr. I was just wondering if anyone thinks it would be cruel to put a show Queen Angelfish in there. It is my absolute favourite fish, and I wanted to dedicate a tank to it. I also wanted to house some anthias, some chromis, a regal tang and perhaps a pair of maroon clownfish in there. I would like to know if this would be OK. Lastly, I was wondering if anyone has any experience with the new Coralife Super Skimmer and the new Fluval FX5 canister filter, I wanted to use these on the new tank. Thanks.

I've never tried it, but I'd say a queen angel should be OK in a 220.

I have the smaller version of the Coralife skimmer, and it works quite well. Pretty easy to set up, and pulls out dark skimmate.

you should not put a queen in a tank that is less than 1 yr. old.make sure you feed it 3x a day.i bought one and paid 140 $ for it. it lived 1 mo.was eating well and just died.do a lot of research before you buy the fish.i hope you have better luck than i did.

i am not sure how old the fish was.it was about 6 in. long. my tank is a 175 bow.i think the fish died because i was feeding it 1x every other day.i now feed smaller amounts 3x a day.also make sure you give it some angel food, it has sponge in it.
