Hi all. Dont know if anyone can help me, but a while ago i had a white spot outbreak after introducing some Kissing gourami to my tank, it took a long time (about 4 wks) and several deaths to clear the white spot with treatment. After about another few months of the fish in my 80 gal aquarium being healthy, i introduced 2 bala sharks and 2 yoyo loach. The day after i introduced them, i noticed the loach covered in white spot... panic!! Have treated the water but wanted to know how hardy these little fish are as dont think i can handle another outbreak and any more deaths... Can anyone help??

Most loaches being scaleless fish are very sensative to ick and to ick medication. For ick treatment, here is one good source from loaches.com
