I appreciate each and all of your advice. The local fish stores around here have a poor selection of south american cichlids. I have read from a few various places on diffrent sites that convicts if kept as one and you get em real tiny can do alright. I do expect some aggression, but I have it set up with lots of caves and hiding spots. As I said above if it doesnt work out then I will do an african tank. Its sortof an experiment. The convict is fine right now in the tank isnt bothering anyone and is playing with the other two cichlids so time will only tell.
