question about angels and a 55gal

which way should I go...(FILTERS)

well I am down to just a few minor details with setting up my new 55 GAL tank, but I have a question about filters again...
now I am not sure what fish I will have, how stocked the tank will be down the road. just to start out I am going to take the 3 albino sharks, and the 2 zebra danio's (BILL and TED) and start them in the tank. I bought the 55GAL for the albinos, so they could at least have a little bit bigger of a tank before they eventually kill eachother off :( (or so I am told).
anyway. I have no filter and I wanted to get a bio wheel. I was looking at the emperor 280, which is rated for a 55 GAL I believe. but I know that headroom could be a good thing down the road. :(after the bloodbath:( so in that case maybe the emperor 400 instead. I hope this question doesn't make anyone mad at me but I seriously cannot figure out which way to go. which would you think would be better?
1. either going to just get the emperor 280 BIO-wheel, and later on just add another standard powerfilter
2. just spring for the emperor 400.

anyway, thanks in advance sorry if a rather dumb question...

1) Why would your question make anyone mad??
2) IMO two filters are better then one. Clean one this cycle and clean other the next cycle.
3) I do not think you can have too much filtration.

I know what everyone is going to say, OVERCROWDED! but I have 8 angels and 4 rainbow fish in a 55g, I have no problem with aggerssion! And they look absolutly wonderful, all of them are all colored up real nice! now I did have two that had paired off and layed eggs, but of course being thier first batch they ate them, which was fine, I am not prepared nor have the time to feed babies.

it can be done..but be aware of aggression issues with the pair..
that many angels ..you stand a good chance of a second pair forming..and that 55 is going to get real small.
I have 2 pairs in a 55 and there are aggression issues as they decide who gets what.

the older pair seems to have found the 'spot' and the other pair want to move in.

I've kept Angels in a 55 with 2 rainbows before. The rainbows and angels got along great until that day that is inevitable in every rainbow shark tank. Even then, the sharks never once bothered the angels. The sharks had the issues with each other on Territory Rights day. Sure, there was a lot of cover for the tank, they each had their own cave on opposite ends of the tank. The ended up killing each other after a few weeks of spatting. I thought it would pass until the morning I saw each showed a gash in their heads. I would suggest worrying about the sharks before worrying about the angels. Their demise is inevitable if left together.
