After a horrible week for a variety of reasons :headshake2:, I have 3 blue pearl shrimp left :silly:.

I'm wondering if they'll reproduce - mainly I wonder because I can't tell if they're male or female. I know that one is definitely female - the saddle is obvious. There's one that I think is male, but it's quite large and I thought the males tended to be small. Then the third I have no idea. Any input would be really appreciated! Thanks

The one on the far right is female, hard to tell with the middle one. The 3/4 top view makes it difficult to see its profile clearly

The one at the far right looks sick--the body is white.

Ahhh! After I posted--I noticed the far left has some white in her body too. I don't have any of these shrimps cuz I'm out of tank room....boo.

I really like the frosty color. KIM_TMA, when they first came they weren't as blue, I think for the stress of travel, but within a couple days they became a lovely frosty blue color - except the larger one in the middle, it is still more brownish (which was one reason I thought it might be male). So, don't be surprised when yours first get to you foi they're not as blue as you'd expected, just give them a couple days.

Hi Rachel, what should I look for on profile?
