How long does it take fish to grow? Now, before you answer "well that depends on the fish", here are the fish I'm interested in (basically I wanna know how long, i.e. weeks, months, years, until they get to say, double their size now):

Clown loaches - 2"
rainbow shark - 3"
featherfin catfish - 3"
blue crayfish - 4"
elephant nose - 6"
plecos - 2"
cherry barb - 1"
x-ray tetra - 1"

I have these split up into two 29g tanks, and I've had both tanks going for maybe a month and a half (started them at the same time). I haven't noticed much fish growth, but that's probably because I look at them every day for several hours (they sit just to the left of me as I use my computer).

x-ray tetras i have and they dont get all that big mines about the same size as yours 1" and iv had him for a while so its praobly about done growing its oly gunna get about a half an inch bigger mabey an inch so i would say a few more weeks and hes done growing. plecos if there just reagular plecos grow fairly fast i think the more they eat the faster thelly grow but im not to sure about that but they should probly double theres size in a month or two. thats about all i really know but i think the clown loaches will get bigger about every month you'll notice there bigger i cant really say for sure since iv never owned one i have other loaches and thats about how the grow

i have had 7 clowns for about two years. largest is about 3 inches long. i'm thinking mine have grown about an inch per year.
