Question About Hair Grass

I am wanting to plant some hair grass in my tank... I have seen some pictures of tanks and the whole bottom is almost covered in this stuff.... If I just buy one plant will it spread all over? Or would I have to buy multi plants

Hairgrass will spread but how big is your tank?

Buy multiple pots, and plant them about 1-2 inches apart. They will fill in quicker than one single bunch. So buy enough pots as it takes to plant 1-2 inches apart in the section you want covered.
