OK ... Ive set up my 55 gallon I have about 40-45 pounds of base rock which is old dried out Fiji Rock. I added this morning about 20 pounds of Tonga Branch Live Rock (more rock type pieces than branch like pieces) and about 15 pounds of Tonga Ridge Shelf Rock.
My substrate is Live Sand and Crushed Coral. I know alot of people on here disaprove of the crushed coral but it's a matter of opinion and I put it in there already so instead of taking it out i'm going to live with it i guess.
My questions are. While my tank cycles can I get a plant or two to put in the tank? And if so what would be a good plant to get?
Is 6 weeks enough time for my 35lbs of LR to seed my 40-45lbs of base rock? I know everything is dependant on other variables but if anyone has a comment I would appreciate it. Thanks again.
