Im not exactly new to the aquarium life but untill recently I have been happy with my simple tank setup and filtration. I am now looking into building my own sump with trickle filtration, and I also had planned on trying my hand at a more planted aqua scape. Ive done some research and found a decent priced co2 system wich use a powerhead to disperse the co2. My question is would it be a good idea to add the co2 to the sump instead of the main tank to give it extra time to be dispersed or is it ideal to have the co2 directly in the tank. Any help is appreciated. And if anyone has any other tips on taking my aquarium to the next level that would be great.
