In a few months I will be moving. Right now I have a 38g tank. When we moved I was wanting to get a 75g or bigger. But since I already have the 38g and equipment I was wonder about getting another 38g same tank as the one I have so size would be the same and putting them in a corner of our new place. In my mind this looks good but I just dont know. Has any of you every tried this? Or seen it done this way? IF I did it this way I was going to make a custom stand for the tanks. Below is a pic of what I'm talking about.

You are going to have a problem with the window if it gets allot of light you will have algae problems. If thats the only place then I would recommend room darkening blinds.

Oh this is where I am living now. Not where I was planning on putting tank. This was the only corner in the house that didnt have something stuffed in it LOL Just wanted to take a pic just to give a idea on what I was talking about.

Remember that there will be dead space in the corner. Not a bad thing but keep it in mind. Personally, unless the 2nd tank is going to house something with different needs I'd use the budget towards a larger tank so you'll have more options.

OK I understand you plan on butting two tanks together in a corner. I agree with Grins it will leave a dead space upgrading to a larger tank would be better.

Get a bow front and turn it backwards to take up the kittie corner and use dead space then put a 38gal on each side to butt up to it
