I've bought and just recieved a 4w Angstrom 2537 UV Sterilizer. There are also 8W varieties of the same model for about $25 more (from aquacave.com anyway). I notice that the ballast used by the 4W model specifies "for one 4, 6, or 8 Watt Lamp." Does anyone know of any possible complication of replacing the bulb with an 8w bulb? The corresponding 6 and 8 watt bulbs have the same form as the 4 watt (mini bipin).
EDIT: Nevermind. It would appear that the 8w bulb is slightly longer than the 4w (duh) and won't fit.
