Stocking Question...

I havea 77 gallon freshwater planted tank. In it I currently have:
1 Clown Loach (Whom I never see....shy little devil)
1 Angel
1 Betta
2 Ottos
3 Corys
3 Pristellas
3 Gold guaramis
3 Emporers
4 Serpaes
6 Red/Blue Columbians
6 Cardinals
_
34 Fish

Is this appropriate stocking?

I would like:
3 more corys
3 clown loaches
1 Discus and
6 Cherry shrimp to complete the tank

Would this be too much?

So far I have no real problems with my tank, I had an algae bloom problem after changing my lighting, that is when I found out actinic bulbs are no good for freshwater. I have that problem beat now. Let me know what you think. Thanks in advance :girl:

Not my speciality, but clown loaches get close to a foot long I think. The discus will require twice weekly water changes in even a lightly stocked tank from what I hear, and the pleco will also get very large (I would just stock more otos if algea problems arise. they like the company) I think the cories and shrimp would be good.

I don't really have experience with larger tanks like this, so wait for more advice.

I would be careful with the clown loach's, they do get big.The other fish seem ok although.

The loaches would EAT the shrimp, the discus needs water changes nearly every day, discus need to be ALONE in the tank, or in groups of 5 or more.

Just curious (no disrespect)In your opinion why do the discus have to be alone? (as in no other fish in the tank)

I think he was just saying it's better to have one discus then two discus.
