Question of the day!

Thank goodness, this morning all was normal!!

Our dog has stolen at least 2-3 cans of flake food at various times with no ill effects.

Our dog Kali also ate an entire bag of gold fish pellets, I'm guessing around 4 cups or more. She is the ultimate garbage can. On other occasions she has gotten a whole bag of flour (yes ladies and gentlemen a 10 lb bag) and ingested it, a package of powered sugar, not to mention the entire loaf of bread she stole off the counter.

She is a real winner when it come to food decisions, basically if it fits in her mouth and holds still long enough......

a 10 pound bag of flour?!?! I am surprised she did not get impacted! Must not have been self rising flour! LOL

My dog has learned to sit by the tanks during feeding in case anything hit's the floor! Another of his trickes is to drink the water from weekly water changes. It has never hurt him but ..............

My 17 year old cat used to sit by the bucket when I siphoned the dirty water out of the tank. He loved to drink it. I would catch him and sho him away. I dont know if it would hurt him or not

Reminds me of a fish food shipment I got through the mail. It was two 8 ounce bags of food. Some fry food and some growth food that I wanted to try out. When I got home the box had been opened and I was barely able to identify the package contents by the torn label from one of the bags. I figured after eating a pound of fish food the dog didn't need feeding that day but it never seemed to affect her.

This reminds me of the time I found an empty 2 ounce can of TetraColor fish food that I had bought only 2 days ago with chew marks all over the top. Let's just say Instead of find multicolored fish flakes, I found multicolored pieces of poo outside the next day.
 Glad to hear it was outside.

Glad to know your dog was OK. BTW - I found out that my cats like cichlid pellets the same way! (No side effects)

We were actually very worried when our dog (sploke's and mine) ate the flour, we figured it was a trip to the vets this time for sure. If not surgery to have the blockage removed. We watched her closely for a week and nothing.........but she really is a garbage disposal. That dog can eat anything, I don't know how she is still ok.
