Question on angels..

My platinum pearlscale angelfish, and my silver pearlscale angelfish just spawned.

What strain of angelfish will they produce? I have no idea!!

Mom is platinum pearlscale, and dad is the silver pearlscale.

The babies will all be pearlscale fish. If the silver has 2 silver genes, all the fry will be silvers, with a gold gene (which will only metter if you breed them). The wildtype gene is dominant over the gold and the gold will not show.

IF these two fish are from the same parents, then we know both of their parents had at least one gold gene, so your silver has at least a two in three chance it is carrying a hidden gold gene. If that is the case, the fry will be 50/50 platinum and silver.

Do you know if they have the same parents? or what the parents looked like?
